When purchasing a home, home insurance will be needed and it is important to call several insurance agents to find the best policy.  Many offer varying discounts with the most popular discount being to bundle your home and auto but this is not always the best option.  I find it is also important to check rates at renewal time as well as many times companies will simply raise your rate on renewal.
